Our Mission
A child’s early years provide a foundation for learning, growth, and development for the rest of their lives. The mission of Tiffany’s Learning Center is to provide a safe and nurturing learning environment that ensures that each child in our care develops age-appropriate social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills in order to help them reach their fullest potential in kindergarten and beyond.
Our Philosophy
At Tiffany’s Learning Center we strive to teach children to think creatively so they may succeed in a complex and ever-changing world. We firmly believe that children learn best when they are actively engaged in hands-on, child-centered learning. Purposeful play is a way of learning for children and is enhanced by teacher-facilitated activities. Our teachers establish and guide the play environment, which in turn stimulates children’s innate desire to construct their own knowledge.
At Tiffany’s Learning Center:
Children are viewed as thinkers, reflecting about their world
Children learn through open-ended, hands-on experiences and interactions with other children and adults
Children are encouraged to make choices and practice individual decision-making within appropriate limits
Teachers create an environment where love and respect are shown for each child as an individual, and where all children learn to love and respect themselves and each other.
Ultimately, in order to help our children develop to their fullest potential, we believe an environment must be created that encourages a child’s curiosity about the world.
